Lettre signée par un certain Gosselin de Grondines à Michelle Naud, compagne de classe. Gosselin devait être âgé entre 80 et 85 ans lorsqu’il écrivit sa lettre en 1986. La lettre informe que l’hiver, sans navigation, la prise du chenal devenait un pont de glace. Les citoyens du Sud traversaient au moulin, près de la première chapelle, et ceux de Deschambault allaient chercher des croutes à Ste-Émilie pour le chauffage au bois.
